Being a sporting tragic, there are so many sporting memories to recall: Australia winning the America’s Cup, Pat Rafter winning Wimbledon, the disappointment of losing the 2003 Rugby World Cup to England, Australian Boomers winning Bronze in Tokyo, but my all time favourite memory was hearing IOC President Juan Antonio Samaranch say those words.. “and the winner is… Syd-a-ney”. Still gives me goosebumps.
Long time suffering New York Knicks fan
Hands down Ivan Lendl and Steffi Graff. They were the 2 most dominant figures in tennis growing up.

My school sports team captain, he’s had a profound impact on how I approached sports. He’s the one who motivated me to work towards getting in my school cricket team. Which finally led me to captaining my school cricket team. It’s amazing how immediate sporting surroundings and mentoring helps one grow.
